- In April of 2008 I received my MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby's. You can read about some of what happened during that time in my previous blog: Life and Times of a London Grad Student. I can tell you a little about the Museo de arte contemporaneo Alfredo Zalce in Morelia.
He was my late tio abuelo and passed in 2003 at 95. I am hoping to get more information since my father just flew there for another Tapia family reunion.
If you ever want to paint paradise on earth, come to Kauai. I can introduce you to the Hawaiian artists. I just met a Bradda John in Kapa'a who carves tiki masks. They are genuine and exquisite.
We have some breathtaking waterfalls here and our own mini Grand Canyon. The mana of the land supercharges an artist's senses.
